Create and configure a new device

A device is a broadcast equipment that allows live streaming to Linkstream. Any equipment capable of broadcasting in RTMP can thus be ingested as a video source: professional camera such as the GY-HM200E of JVC, encoding device such as the Vidiu of Teradek or broadcasting software such as OBS.

First step: Create and configure the device

Enter device name

Click on “Créer” button to create the device

Click on the newly created device

Enter the name of the video to be broadcasted by the device

Enter the name of the event to which the device will be attached

Enter a description of the video that will be generated by the device

Validate

1 Enter device name

2 Click on “Créer” button to create the device

3 Click on the newly created device in the device list below

4 Enter the name of the video to be played by the device

5 Enter the name of the event in which the video broadcast by the device will be aggregated.

6 Enter a description of the video that will be generated by the device

7 Validate by pressing “Créer” button.

Step 2: Get the URL server and the streaming key

Copy and paste the URL and streaming key into your camera or software to broadcast to our servers.
